Lyndon and I just got back from a trip to Montana and its my new favorite place on earth. Montana completely stole my heart and made me want to stay forever. I legitimately did not want to leave the day we were scheduled to head back home.

As soon as you leave the airport you’re surrounded by mountains. We visited one short trail our first night and I told Lyndon, “it feels like we’re in a movie, only because thats the only time I’ve seen views like this.”

We also visited at the perfect time when the leaves were turning! It was SO pretty. In the midwest where we are the leaves haven’t really turned yet and its suspected that when they do they’ll fall pretty soon after. So it was nice to see fall in the mountains!!

The photos hardly do it justice – it is honestly one of the most stunning and peaceful places I’ve ever visited.

We traveled to Whitefish, MT to work with one of our branding clients, Steph Weber. Steph is a brand coach who loves to travel so we often visit different locations for her photoshoots. We wanted a cozy fall/winter vibe for this session; when Steph said Montana I absolutely lit up.

Whitefish is the cutest lil’ town and the people are so nice. We stayed in the most adorable cabin that was in the ski slopes (and it was off season so we had the whole place to ourselves)! We were within an hour of Glacier National, too!

On our first full day we did some location scouting and Steph was able to come along. We toured Glacier and picked out the spots that we liked best for her branding photoshoot the next day. We also scouted downtown Whitefish to use for some photos.

The day of the photoshoot we ended up using the cabin & its surroundings, downtown Whitefish, and Glacier. We got so many fun content photos (I cannot wait to show you all!!) and at the end of the day we had the most incredible view of the lake. Then we ended our day with pizza and netflix (my dream).

It was so fun to explore and be in nature. We came for a branding photoshoot and left with so much more. I’m already scheming how soon we can go back to visit.
