If you didn’t see Part 1 of my trip to South Africa, you can do so here! And if you did see it, welcome back! Part 2 is filled with a few more adventures…to start off with – bungee jumping!
No, I didn’t bungee jump. But, we did watch a couple of people in our group jump and it was pretty fun to watch!
Bloukrons Bridge is the world’s highest bungee jumping location, at 216 meters high. Go big or go home, right?
Stopped for a picnic lunch at the Southernmost Tip of Africa.
Finally arrived at Gordons Bay, where we would spend the rest of our trip! Best way to start a morning!
We visited the market square in Cape Town. So fun!
I could work with this view every day.
Please brace yourself….
PENGUINS!!!
I mean seriously, they were adorable.
Helderberg Mountain –
I can’t really not work, even on vacation.
The CUTEST beach restaurant that we got to visit while we were there, called Grand Beach.
There was a girl celebrating her 18th birthday at a table nearby with her friends, so she got some birthday photos!
On our last day, we woke up before sunrise to photograph a bridal styled shoot on the shore! It was absolutely breathtaking.
Special thanks to Alyssa Kristin for the dress!
Then we climbed Table Mountain…
Those steps…they’re tall – don’t let the photo deceive you. And they’re alllllllllll the way up the mountain.
Made it to the top!
It was really cool to see the paragliders gliding down the mountain! Maybe we’ll do that next time.
On the way home! This was when we were flying over Madrid (where we stopped for a layover on the way back), but unfortunately I don’t have any photos from there since we only saw the airport. 🙂
Thanks for following along on our trip! If you ever get a chance to visit South Africa, I highly recommend you go. It’s the most beautiful country and you have the opportunity to experience so much. And if you do go, make sure you visit Mugg & Bean. They have amaaaazing breakfast + coffee!
