The secret’s out – we’re moving to Bloomington, IN! I can hardly believe it; we are so incredibly excited about this next adventure in our lives!
Last fall, Lyndon began his application process to grad schools in Indiana for his MBA. On the list was Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. We didn’t know what to expect, and just trusted God to lead and guide us in the process. In December, we received word back from IU that Lyndon was accepted! A few days later he was accepted to another University and the past couple of months have been filled with a lot of prayer and careful consideration as we made our decision.
A few weeks ago, we officially registered him with IU, where he’ll be taking his MBA!
When we’ll be moving
We’ll be moving into our new place at the end of July! This summer is a busy one; between the many weddings + photoshoots I have booked, packing, and moving…we’ll be occupied! We’re so excited for all of it, though!
What we’re excited about
We’re excited to be in a University setting again, and close to some of our friends from our days of working at camp together. And, I’m excited about being close to college-town coffee shops again!
What we’ll miss
The biggest thing we’ll miss is our families. We’ve been very blessed to have both of our families living in the same town, and it will be an adjustment not having them as close! However, I know that we’ll be visiting over holidays and maybe the occasional weekend, so it won’t be as hard to adjust!
We’ll also miss our church, which has become like family to us. They have been so good to us, and we’ve created some amazing friendships there. Just one more reason to come back and visit once we’ve moved!
What this means for my business
The nice thing about my business is that I travel frequently for it. I will still be making trips to Chicago for shoots, and will post those travel dates on my social media pages when they come up.
My business will primarily be based in Bloomington and the Indianapolis area. I am definitely looking forward to working with more college students again, and (fingers crossed!), having a studio space to capture boudoir and product photography! All in God’s leading + timing, though!
God has been so good to us through all of this, and we’re confident that He’s leading us every step of the way.
