It’s shockingly common for photographers to either feel awkward in front of the camera or just not have chances to have high quality images of themselves taken. As photographers ourselves its always a compliment when we get asked to take branding photos of photographers.
As wedding photographers @kalli.june.photo and @kayla.kjphoto spend a lot of time working together but didn’t have many photos of them together that showed their personality. For their 2 hour Refresher session we lined up a studio with multiple backdrops and divided the session into 2 outfits each. This gave both professional and casual vibes that we could then cycle through different props and poses to maximize the number of photos we could create during their session.
What really made their personalities shine through these images were things like the wedding props for the detail images were from Kayla’s wedding or flowers and boho outfits are things that both Kalli and Kayla enjoy in their daily lives.
